With the steady support of hole-making machinery, holes were pre-dug and ready to be filled by eager supporters, who planted future canopy along the strecth of the Harte Trail past the new developments, closer to the Perimeter. We hope many future generations will benefit from the shade and respite it will provide as well as from unexpected encounters with the local wildlife that will undoubtledly settle in.
All this hard-work resulted in 100 trees being planted, a good dose of sweat beign poured and lots of chatting and hanging out, in full respect of current health reccomendations.
This community’s love of nature and its committment to ensuring the continuity of the Harte Trail so that future generations may enjoy it are truly heart-warming.
Thank you all for coming out to help, working safely and respecting everyone’s space. As always it is a true pleasure to watch how engaged and supportive you all are at these initiatives.
